Dr. Russell (Rusty) Hilliard has joined Kearney Regional Medical Center as a full-time Hospitalist.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Colorado College, Dr. Hilliard went on to earn his medical degree and complete his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. Hilliard has been serving the community as a family medicine physician for 27 years. He has also been working as a part-time community hospitalist and is excited to begin a new chapter at Kearney Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Hilliard has served on the KRMC Board of Directors and has been a great supporter of our campus since its creation.

Rusty is married to Kim Hilliard, a general surgery physician’s assistant at Platte Valley Medical Clinic. In his spare time, he enjoys amateur radio, road cycling, and backpacking.
