Neurologist Sarah Doss, MD, Joins Platte Valley Medical Clinic

Sarah Doss, MD, has joined the medical staff of Platte Valley Medical Clinic and Kearney Regional Medical Center. Dr. Doss specializes in movement disorders including rare neurodegenerative, neuroinflammatory and neurogenetic diseases.

She has been trained in deep brain stimulation programming for Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor, and in botulinum toxin administration for the treatment of dystonia, spasticity, sialorrhea, and chronic migraine.

Dr. Doss received her medical degree at the Charité University Medicine Berlin in Germany, specializing in neurology. She then founded an ataxia outpatient clinic at the Charité Berlin where she practiced as a certified neurologist.

In 2019, Dr. Doss moved to the U.S. and started a Movement Disorders Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed her fellowship December 2021, and has been on the faculty at UNMC as an assistant professor.
