The staff is always courteous no matter how busy they are. That can't be easy dealing with the public. Doctor Patera listens and offers positive feedback to me. She is my primary physician because I believe she is the best and thats why I trust her with my life.

They never hurry you and treat you as if they're truly concerned about your medical concerns and care. They check into and follow all information if you've been hospitalized recently or previous times. You leave with no fears and hope for better health ahead. This clinic staff all have great 'people skills' and I know when I have an appt. that I will be treated well, listened to and leave with answers to all my concerns. Can't ask for much more, right?

they were able to help with an unexpected problem the time I had a regular monthly test and realllllly helped me so didn't have to make another visit as I was in discomfort, very glad of their flexibility! Am feeling so much better. All staff very competent, helpful and friendly!

She doesn't brush them off or relate their symptoms to aging or old age. She actually gets to know them and wants the best quality of life for them. I wish all doctors could be like her!!! The entire office staff is friendly, caring, and treat you with kindness and concern. Dr. Patera has the exquisite blend of skill/expertise with the ability to listen, advise, and act promptly when needed. As I told her "I literally trust her with my life" Specific services and features of NIM that I highly recommend are the onsite lab, the pharmacist consultant services, and the nurse navigator. The nurse navigator was especially valuable when she called after my hospital stay. She helped me understand some of the discharge instructions that were unclear and answered my questions. I am convinced she lowered my stress levels to hasten my healing. My chart is a tool I rely upon. It is a good way to communicate with the team and also serves as a repository of my medical information that I can reference as needed. It empowers me to stay informed. Kudos to Sam on Dr. Patera's team. She demonstrates infinite patience with my questions and is 100% prompt to return a phone call with answers and a way forward for any problems in between visits. Dr. Patera is wonderful. She is intelligent, thorough, and a great listener. When you leave your appointment, you know exactly what she is recommending, what script she has sent to the pharmacy, what plan she is implementing, etc. She is a terrific internist.

I so appreciate Dr Patera's patience, answering all my questions! I so appreciated her expertise re: the report from the Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr Lee. It was extremely helpful!! She gave me the results of my labs from my last visit that she sent off for more extensive testing, which showed that my wbc did not show any abnormalities!! I was extremely relieved because my last two blood draws showed that my white blood count reading had been low. I am so grateful for the total care she gives me!!!
