Beyond Expectations and Grateful Patients

Beyond Expectations

GIVE RECOGNITION ONLINE

Did a nurse, physician, staff member or volunteer go beyond your expectations to provide you or your family member excellent care? Did someone treat you with extraordinary courtesy and respect, carefully listen to you and explain things to you to help calm your fears and concerns?

Recognizing caregivers with a note of thanks and a gift in their honor is a meaningful way to celebrate their work and your care. We will deliver the note and recognize your caregiver with a pin that signifies he or she has been honored for going beyond expectations. It means a great deal to hear from you — to know we were there in your time of need.

You also can make a gift in honor of your caregiver. A gift not only honors your caregivers, it also makes a difference in the lives of others.

Because Bryan Health is a locally owned and operated, nonprofit health care system, gifts like yours ensure that you, your family and your neighbors continue to receive state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment from our expert, caring staff and physicians.

Thank you for your support. It was our honor to care for you.

Nurses and Staff Thanked for Compassionate Care

"We would like to recognize Jeri with Environmental Services and the West 5 South team for their exceptional care during Anita’s stay. During our time at Bryan West, which extended over the holidays, Jeri gave Anita a Christmas quilt. That quilt means so much to us and was such a source of comfort while at the hospital and rehabilitation. All the staff did an amazing job, showing us compassion and providing outstanding care. You all made such a difference in our long stay."

Grandma Recognizes Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Doctor and Pastoral Care for NICU Baby's Care

"Dr. Ansah’s clinical knowledge and compassion were a great comfort to us when my ill granddaughter was in the NICU. He did not hesitate to consult with other experts. He stayed by our side and continually updated us and allowed time for decision making. He truly understands the need for parents to touch and bond with their newborn – even so briefly.

Nina was a quiet, comforting and compassionate person to lean on. She very calmly reminded us to ask our questions and to take the time needed to make decisions. She facilitated the process of a very difficult and emotional situation. She continued to be our rock long after the critical situation ended. Truly an angel!"

Patient Sends Gratitude to Nurse

"James was very kind to me. He listened to my concerns, joked around with me and made me feel comfortable. When my wife left one night she was concerned about me because I was mixed-up from my medication and everything. She was able to stop and talk with James about what she had observed about me. He too was concerned. He made sure he had our cell number if he needed to call her that night. He said and did check on me as needed during the night to make sure I knew where I was and why and if I needed anything. He would talk to me like it wasn’t just his job to do this. The whole staff was very good to me! Thanks!"
