Description

Complete the Essentials of Childbirth series all in one day! We want to support you by creating a positive experience and learn how you can take an active role in the birth and care of your baby! Begin your journey through birth and beyond with us in this family-centered childbirth series. 

Topics include:

• Learn about your changing body

• Recognize signs of labor

• Discover helpful comfort techniques

• Get an overview of medical procedures

• Understand cesarean birth

• Prepare for your baby’s arrival

• Know what to expect after giving birth

The class meets from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Women & Children's Classroom. A one-hour lunch break is included in this timeframe. 

Please note that all Essentials classes include a tour of the Bryan Family Birthplace.

Class fee includes birthing person and birth coach. 

Cost: $65 per couple
