My Approach to Care

My belief is each patient is unique with individual needs. There is not a one size fits all medical approach. It is my goal to meet my patients where they are and encourage them to be actively involved in their care plan. My approach is to build relationships and foster environments where patients feel comfortable sharing their stories, so we can make evidence and science based medical decisions towards better and healthier lifestyles together.

Background and Education
Raised in York, Nebraska, it is my privilege to work with and serve the community that has largely shaped who I am. I received my undergraduate degree from Wayne State College here in Nebraska and my Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. As a Nebraska native, I am excited to be a part of more lives and have the opportunity to serve patients in the Lincoln and surrounding area.

The folks at Raybridge Ketamine Therapy Group said that Ms. Lu Wang was very aggressive and very defensive. She was being very uncooperative in helping me get my treatment, and I'm being serious when I say this, I will be switching. I will be switching psychiatrists at the very least.

Doctor Rose was good, but when he retired and I was assigned a new psychiatrist I was so excited to see that I was paired with a woman. She beyond exceeded my expectations. She brought an upbeat, youthful, feminine, energy (at 8:00 am!!!). I could not have picked a more perfect provider for myself if I had tried. I called my sister on the way home because I was so excited to gush about how much I love my new doctor. Even though it was only our first time meeting, she was very clearly familiar with my medical history and my past treatment plans. She was professional and also congenial. She did a spectacular job. I am really looking forward to having her on my care team.

Great experience from beginning to end of appointment. I was skeptical at first because going to see a new Psych Doc isn't easy cause it hard to spill your background. I must say I was very impressed and felt great about my session.

It's always nerve wracking going to a new mental health provider, but Lu was so personable, bubbly, and welcoming. She made it a very easy transition for me!

I was thoroughly under the unprepared that I was seeing a counselor at this visit. After listening to me for several minutes, the provost informed me that she was just there to provide medication management. Someone, I'm not sure who, needs to let the payoff know specifically that this is the reason for the (first time) visit. As I said, I was disappointed to find out that this visit was for meds and had nothing to do worth a therapy appointment. The provider stated that this same scenario has happened numerous times before. So, it would appear to me that the situation needs to be fixed. Thank you!

Had a new dr so don't think she read my history or knew about my situation. Just listened and got me on some medication. She was super friendly, listened and was very caring about my situation. Told me to contact her with any problems and I really appreciate that!
