My Approach to Care

My goal in caring for my patients is to provide complete, whole person care. Many medical conditions are interconnected within different systems of our bodies and environment. It is always interesting to piece together the whole picture.

I enjoy caring for each patient uniquely and working together as a team to help create treatment plans that will be successful for them. My biggest passion is preventive care - especially working with diet and lifestyle to treat some of our most common conditions before jumping straight to medications.

I also enjoy women’s and men’s health, pediatric care and chronic disease management. The best part about family medicine is caring for patients of all ages - from newborns to elderly. I enjoy having experience in all of it! It is an honor and privilege to take care of my patients. 

Areas of Expertise include:

  • All types of preventive care including sports physicals
  • Chronic disease management - diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and prevention, pulmonary conditions, mental health including anxiety and depression, and much more
  • Contraception management - including IUDs and implants
  • Skin lesion evaluation and care
  • Joint injections
  • Reproductive health screening and management (paps, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, etc.)
