My Approach to Care

As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I provide evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to help youth and their families. This may include medication or other strategies to fit each situation. 

My specialty is working with children and teens, and their families, to help in areas such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD)
  • Behavior and school challenges
  • PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)
  • Pattern of mood swings
  • Significant life changes and relationship difficulties

He took the time to listen to my concerns and asked me questions as well as asked my daughter her perspective on things. Only thing that was caught off guard about was my appointment time was at 1245 and the office was locked due to them being at lunch. Should leave office unlocked even when at lunch so patients can wait in the waiting room.

Dr Brendan has a very kind and caring presence. He is very well versed in my child's history and listens carefully to my updates and concerns. I feel he cares about my parental input and actively works together with me to determine the best course of treatment for my child. My kids seem comfortable with talking to him as well. I would highly recommend him! Office is very responsive when I call with a need and we never have to wait long during visits
