Dr. Heckman is by far the best provider I have experienced. I've never had a provider that I could trust and felt listened to before her.

The only thing I would change is I want to be able to continue to see provider. She is not accepting new patients which I am very sad about. They were all so kind.

The alloted time of the appointment is not long enough for an annual physical. There are some issues I did not have a chance to discuss during this too brief annual check-up.

Everyone I interacted with was so friendly, they are every time. I am lucky to be a patient of this office!

The provider was caring compassionate. Explained everything and actually listened to my questions. Then provided me with a great answer. She also made sure to let me know at least a couple times that this branch is a safe place. That really put my mind to ease.

I spent years going to a doctor that didn't seem that interested or took the time to care for my needs. My friend referred me to you several years ago and everyone we have seen in your clinic his so kind and compassionate. No one seems like they are trying to rush you out the door for another appointment. Everyone seems really interested to help me feel better. I love your clinic.

Dr Heckman is the best doctor l've ever had in my 66 years! She spends plenty of time with me at my appointments and always asks what questions l have. Dr Heckman makes recommendations regarding medications but let's me make the final decision. She's always positive and very encouraging, focusing on what is going well with my health! But she also recommends changes, particularly with medications, to improve my health. I also appreciate MyChart-being able to communicate with Dr Heckman, request refills, or look at my lab results prior to appointments.

I just really appreciate that I don't feel rushed there and she listens to my concerns and addresses them all.

This was my first visit with Dr. Heckman as Dr. Dresbach was out of the office and I really liked her and her nurse. Dr. H had spent time to go over my file/records before I am in which tells me that she wanted the whole picture and to be sure that she 'got things right'. I was extremely impressed with her--and I do not impress easily.

My provider spends as much time as she possibly can with me. She is so very helpful and so thorough. I could not ask for a better physician. I truly appreciate her and wish that I could have more time with her than her time allots for me. I know that she only has so much time with each patient and I wish there could be more doctors like her because she is truly dedicated to her profession and I like her so much. I really appreciate all that she does to make her visit with me so thorough and so efficient to make sure that I understand what she is trying to tell me.

Dr. Kassman has been my care provider for eight years. She has seen me through some very major medical downfalls. I had a feeding tube, chest ports, pancreatitis, liver problems. She was always there every step of the way of my care, finding me specialists, helping me. She's always been listening to me. She always takes the extra minute to make sure that I'm okay and that we both understand the care.

Dr. Heckman is a very compassionate Doctor!

This visit was a followup when your office was closed for the predicted weather the day before, a closure I found very surprising for a health care provider especially to be called before any precipitation fell. I assume your office may close with LPS? Because I had a health issue that I felt was important to deal with, I called at 7 the next morning seeking a same day appointment to make up for your closure on Monday. I ended up having to have 3 conversations to schedule because of apparent internal confusion about when your office was opening and the issue that one health care provider couldn't make it in. I also got a contradictory message about my appointment time in mychart, creating more confusion. It sounded to me like the front desk folks and phone answerers were having to deal with a lot of changing parts and undoubtedly frustrated callers. Not a good position to be in. I may have a personal grumpiness about LPS closing school before even a flake has fallen, especially given how many times forecasters have said we're going to get much more snow than arrives. I found it alarming that a health care provider would do the same, assuming you had patients who had much more serious health issues than mine who really needed to see a doctor that day, then were likely frustrated if they felt the weather wouldn't have prevented them from making it to your office. Could you provide a more relaxed cancellation plan if patients didn't feel comfortable driving? If the issue is that your staff had issues with transportation, I may question why people in important health care professions don't have good plans for ensuring transportation for normal January weather. (I'll also note that urgent cares closed early that date, so anyone with any health issue not needing the ER had to wait it out.) It appears that Bryan may have made this call and your office was responding to an order from the bosses. Regardless of how this came about, it seems clear that internal communication could improve and perhaps you need to discuss what constitutes a weather emergency leading to closure for a health care office. In the end, Lincoln received an amount of snow that I would argue is nowhere out of the norm for a day in January, and to find my doctor not available as expected and then to have a fair amount of communication confusion the following day was disappointing. (If all this had happened with 10 inches of snow or an inch of ice, that would have been very understandable.) I am very fond of this office and have had nothing but excellent experiences with Drs. Dresbach and Heckman, Alli and Melissa, and all the nurses and staff. I was scheduled for a physical that date and was eager to ask Dresbach for help on this nagging issue. I was frustrated and surprised by the office closure and couldn't help but think how alarming that would have been if my health issue had been for something more serious. I know you all were following weather predictions that were n [Truncated]

Dr. Heckman listened to my medical concerns for my daughter with a developmental disability. She exhibits a kind, caring, patient manner and is truly interested in my concerns. She is able to answer my questions and is very knowledgeable about my daughter's medical conditions.
