When Maddie and Brysen Mach were determining where to go for their obstetric care for their second child, they decided close to home was exactly what they wanted. Their second son, Rennon, born November 2023, was delivered at Crete Area Medical Center (CAMC) by Dr. Jason Hesser.

“I have always loved the idea of giving birth at a smaller hospital within my community as opposed to traveling to a larger hospital. CAMC gave me just what I was looking for, I loved being “at home” with staff that were in my community and I truly felt that family atmosphere,” said Maddie. “Giving birth can be such a nerve wracking time, but the birthing staff at CAMC made it such a beautiful experience. A huge heartfelt thanks goes out to all of the staff involved in my care who explained everything in great detail and made me feel like such a priority. We are so appreciative of their excellent care in helping us welcome Rennon into this world!”

When discussing her experience with her prenatal care prior to delivering, postpartum care, as well as well-child care for Rennon, Maddie shared her thoughts on Dr. Jason Hesser and how special it was to have the same physician throughout all the stages of her care. “I don’t have enough kind words to say about Dr. Jason. I feel so fortunate to have him as our physician, he is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and caring,” shared Maddie. “I also love his personality - throwing humor in at just the right times. He was so attentive to my care throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. I was highly impressed with his quick responsiveness to all of my questions and concerns. He is a top-notch physician and I would recommend him time and time again!”
