Grand Island Regional Medical Center Patients

We hope your time with us is as comfortable and easy as possible.

Our primary concerns are your health and well-being. We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your visit, and we’ve compiled a list of resources below to ensure you have all the information you need.


Hours

The main entrance is open from 5 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Outside of these hours, please enter through the Emergency Room, which is open 24/7.

The Maternity entrance is open 24/7.

Visitation Hours

General visiting hours at GIRMC are from 5 a.m.-8:30 p.m.

To maintain a restful, healing environment we ask that all appropriate family, friends and visitors leave the hospital by 8:30 p.m. Designated support person(s) are an exception to this rule. Designated support persons are individuals whom a patient has identified as active members of the health care team.

  • Patients can apply for financing options at GIRMC.

Interpreter/Language Line

Effective communication is our priority as it increases the quality of care and safety for patients. Grand Island Regional Medical Center provides a 24/7 language line for limited English-speaking, deaf, and hard-of-hearing patients. Many languages are available in both video and phone form.


How to Obtain Medical Records

For questions and information regarding your health records, please contact our Medical Records Clerk at 308-675-4425. If they are unavailable, please leave a detailed message on our secure voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible. If you are an outside medical facility requesting records, please contact us directly at 308-675-4425.
