HealthNow Nutrition Counseling

Grand Island Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce HealthNow Nutrition Counseling-our direct access option for patients wanting to take control of their health NOW! With over 15 years of experience, our registered dietitian is thoroughly equipped to answer and address all your nutrition-related needs. The cost per each 30-minute session is $50. Cash, check and credit card are accepted at the time of service. Services will not be submitted to insurance.

Nutrition counseling is not a substitute for physician ordered medical nutrition therapy for certain disease processes. We encourage you to check with your health insurance plan to determine if medical nutrition therapy is covered and to what extent.

In Shape for Surgery: Elective surgery often means change in lifestyle. How and what you eat can greatly affect the success of your surgery. This session will aid you in pre- and post- surgery nutrition to achieve optimal surgical outcomes.

Lose the Weight: Whatever your “why” is, our registered dietitian will aid you in achieving your weight loss goals in a way that is healthy and sustainable.
