Our Emergency Services team is specially trained to treat all your emergent and critical needs conveniently in our Emergency Room 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide you with little-to-no wait time, while caring for you with the highest level of emergency care, day or night.

At our facility, you'll be seen by a physician, not a midlevel, and be given a thorough evaluation to establish the best plan for your care.

We are part of the Advanced UNMC Telestroke program®, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center, which means we can quickly and accurately treat strokes where time is of the essence.

We work with many Emergency Medical Service providers and hospitals throughout Nebraska and Northern Kansas. If you are in need of emergency transport, your EMS crew may ask where you’d like to go. Just say, “Take me to Kearney Regional” and you’ll experience the highest emergency care within minutes!

Certified Stroke Center

Kearney Regional Medical Center has earned primary stroke certification by the Health Care Facilities Accreditation Program, the nation’s original, independent accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Stroke is the leading cause of long-term disability in the United States. Early recognition is an important factor in the treatment and rehabilitation of stroke patients.

KRMC met or exceeded all standards for stroke program accreditation:
