Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
We’re here to give your baby the best possible start in life. If your baby needs extra care, our Level II: Advanced Newborn Care neonatal intensive care unit has private rooms for you to bond with your baby while receiving optimum care with state-of-the-art technology. Not only will you experience a close knit team of nurses who care about you and your baby’s health, but you’ll also have a team of doctors focused on your success.
Our neonatal intensive care unit is specially designed to treat babies born at 32 weeks or older who may need specialized care.
Onsite Lactation Services
The staff at KRMC encourage every opportunity for parent-infant interaction and support early breastfeeding. Our board-certified lactation consultant is on-site and available for inpatient and outpatient visits, as well as consultation after you leave the hospital.

Childbirth Classes
Childbirth classes at Kearney Regional Maternity Care Center will consist of five weekly sessions. Each class will be taught by certified childbirth educators and a lactation consultant.
Classes will include: stages of labor, breastfeeding, breathing and relaxation techniques, postpartum/newborn care and much more.
Classes consist of five weekly sessions on Mondays from 5:30-8 p.m.

Big Little Helpers Classes
Big brothers and sisters-to-be are invited to attend our FREE class designed to teach them what to expect when you are expecting. Littles will be able to ask questions and practice being a Big Sibling!
Classes will include:
- Tour of the maternity center
- How to be a Big Little Helper
- What babies need
- A card for baby-to-be!
