Volunteer Services at Kearney Regional Medical Center

Kearney Regional Medical Center began its Volunteer Services department in Summer of 2023.

We are currently utilizing volunteers in two areas:

• Family Care Host - Surgery Waiting Room
• Wayfinding - Platte Valley entrance

Shifts are typically 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. during the work week, and can be customized depending on availability of the volunteer.

Apply to Become a Volunteer

All volunteers must be age 14 or older, and are asked to make a minimum commitment of three consecutive months.
All volunteers must meet the position requirements, train and begin service within 2-4 weeks of interview date.

Here are a few simple steps to become a KRMC volunteer.

1. Complete the volunteer application by clicking HERE
2. Complete these volunteer forms and bring to your scheduled interview
   • Immunization History Form
   • Parental Consent Form (if younger than 19)
3. Volunteers Services will call you to schedule your interview and outline next steps.
