Welcome to Complete Endocrinology!

Endocrinology is the medical specialty that focuses on disorders of the endocrine system. The endocrine system is made of glands located throughout the body. These glands produce hormones that are involved in important body processes including blood sugar regulation, growth and reproduction. Examples of endocrine glands include the pancreas, thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary, ovaries and testes.

Our practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality, evidence-based care for individuals experiencing health concerns related to the endocrine system. Conditions we address include adrenal gland disorders, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis/bone metabolism disorders, pituitary disorders, thyroid disease, transgender care and more.

Our provider and education team includes physicians, physician assistants, certified diabetes educators (CDEs), registered dietitians (RDs) and a clinical pharmacist. Our approach to each patient is individualized and will include discussion, education, physical exam, and lab work and imaging studies as needed.

  • Continuous glucose monitor (CGM) training and management
  • Insulin pump management and training
  • Diabetes education with certified educators
  • Potential involvement in clinical trials
  • Onsite clinical pharmacist

Telehealth

Telehealth visits are appointments where you meet with a health care team member virtually. This visit may be from your home or a designated Telehealth site at a local medical clinic or hospital.

Understanding Your Medications

Ben Modrell, PharmD, is specially trained to evaluate medications and their role in improving health. He partners with your doctors and other health care providers to help meet your treatment goals.

 Ben works with you to:

  • Make sure you are on the correct medications and correct doses for your conditions
  • Review the results of your laboratory values and make appropriate changes
  • Review the results of your at-home health devices (continuous glucose monitors, glucometers, insulin pumps, blood pressure)
  • Reduce out-of-pocket medication expenses
  • Answer questions you may have about your medications or health devices
  • Help you keep a current medication list

Services Include:

  • Insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor (CGM) training and management
  • Diabetes education with certified educators
  • Thyroid nodule biopsies 
  • On-site clinical pharmacist to help you understand your medications 
  • Telehealth appointments

Patient Forms

For your convenience, we encourage you to fill out any needed forms in the comfort of your home before your appointment. Our staff will let you know which forms you should complete. If you are a new patient, please arrive 30 minutes before registration and be sure to bring any insurance cards you have and your photo ID.

New Patient Referral

If you want to be a new patient, we require medical records be sent to us for review before scheduling an appointment. Please have your referring doctor fax or mail us the following:

  • Letter with referral reason and urgency of needed appointment
  • Patient demographics, including insurance
  • Last six months of office visit/clinic notes
  • Labs/imaging
