There is always a board certified internal medicine hospitalist in-house on each campus 24/7 to respond to your call and provide care to your patients. Bryan Hospitalists coordinate care for all patient transfers to Bryan East Campus and Bryan West Campus including:
- Adult acute care patients
- Intensive care and referral to intensivists
- Neurological care and referral to neurohospitalist
What you can expect
We offer a streamlined transfer and admitting process making it easy for you and your patient. The hospitalist will:
- Coordinate your patient’s care working with you, medical center staff and other physicians, if needed
- Provide frequent follow-up visits to your patient and be available to discuss treatment plans and answer questions
- Make timely decisions based on your patient’s changing status
- Inform you of any unexpected changes in your patient’s condition
- Facilitate transfers between Bryan East Campus and Bryan West Campus
- Fax a summary discharge report to you
- Refer your patient back to your for follow-up care

A trauma surgeon is always available to take your call and arrange care. The trauma surgeon and medical team will:
- Accept trauma patient transfers
- Activate the Trauma Team
- Coordinate all physician consultations needed
- Provide frequent follow-up visits to your patient and be available to discuss treatment plans and answer questions
- Make timely decisions based on your patient’s changing status
- Inform you of your patient’s condition and any unexpected changes in your patient’s condition
- Fax a summary discharge report to you
- Refer your patient back to your for follow-up care
