Healing Arts and Connections
Supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of those affected by cancer
At the April Sampson Cancer Center, we believe healing goes beyond traditional medical treatments. Cancer affects not only the body but also the mind and spirit. Many patients experience anxiety, depression, and isolation during their treatment journey. Research shows that integrative therapies, such as art, mindfulness and music, can significantly reduce stress, improve emotional resilience and enhance overall quality of life.
